And another home win for Vytis

 With only one lost game in Division1 this season is looking promising for Vytis

After a slow start of the season Vytis managed to pull through in the Dave Owen Trophy competition and entering the semi-final at the top of the four teams that got through.

The game against St Neots Slammers was the decisive one, which meant that Vytis  could have ended up in the fifth place, should St Neots have won.  

In the semi-final Vytis will play against Wellingborough Phoenix on 29th of November at Peterborough Regional College, at 6:20pm.

This was first game for Vytis In Peterborough Basketball League (PBL) after new year. After bad start before Christmas in PBL Premier division Vytis desperately needs some wins in this league to move up to the second place. Bedford being fourth in the league, were also hungry for a win.

The game started with series unsuccessful attacks from Vytis and some quick and accurate attacks from from Cougars with 3 threepointers in first four minutes, giving a 9 point lead. After a time-out Vytis
changed their attack tactics and started catching up point by point and first quarter ended 19 : 18
